Just because you're in the middle of the ocean doesn't mean you can't stay in touch with the people you miss back home.
On Navy ships and Coast Guard vessels equipped with AT&T Direct Ocean Service, you can use the AT&T dedicated phones to call ship-to-shore to anyone, almost anywhere in the world.
Most calls are just $0.45 per minute (calls from some Navy ships are $2.15 or $2.95 per minute). Please keep in mind that these rates may change so be sure to ask for the current rate before placing your call. To pay for a call when you're at sea, simply use your $20 AT&T Global PrePaid Card for Ship-to-Shore or your AT&T Global Military Saver Plussm Plan calling card. You can buy $20 AT&T Global PrePaid Cards for Ship-to-Shore at your Navy exchange, ship's store, on-base vending machines, and other selected locations worldwide. Please check with your exchange for availability. IMPORTANT NOTE: other AT&T Global PrePaid Cards and AT&T Worldwide PrePaid Cards will NOT work for ship-to-shore calling.
